Neurotologist

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center is recruiting a second full-time neurotologist. As the only academic medical center in the state, there is excellent opportunity for a large referral-based practice. Our department encompasses the only comprehensive team of otolaryngology subspecialists in the state.

We are the only comprehensive skull base program in the state and have a busy cochlear implant program.  We have 15 audiology faculty members. In addition, we have group of six audio-vestibular basic scientists who consistently are ranked highly in our field in terms of extramural funding. This creates an outstanding opportunity for a highly productive collaborative research program for the candidate. In addition, this position has the potential for a leadership role. 

UMMC is located in Jackson, the capital of Mississippi.  The Jackson metro area is home to a diverse dining, shopping and entertainment scene. The community boasts recreational lakes, trails and other outdoor activities. Home to 500,000 residents, metropolitan Jackson boasts affordable living with a warm, welcoming southern culture.
